We advised on all Bulgarian law aspects of the transaction, including on a wide-range of issues relating to assignment of rights under the applicable laws and the various legal implications concerning the intellectual property rights, copyrights and patents. We designed, together with our client’s inhouse team of US-qualified lawyers, an innovative contractual and deal structure to ensure valid and enforceable transfer of relevant underlying IPRs, patents and copyrights to proprietary software products under the laws of all relevant jurisdictions, incl. US and Bulgaria.
